The Heart Behind the Name

The name comes from Matthew 17:20, the reminder that even faith the size of a mustard seed can grow into something strong.

I’ve spent a good amount of time praying over this business and over every future client who might come across it. I’m not looking to build a career empire. I am God’s child, seeking to use the talents and abilities He has given me to serve others.

My life’s purpose is simple: everything is made by God and for God. He has blessed me in more ways than I can count and I believe my calling is to steward those blessings faithfully and to be the hands and feet of Jesus in whatever season I’m in.

I’m a wife, a mom to two boys, a former teacher turned marketer turned website builder. The idea for this site didn’t start in a strategy session. It started in a season of searching. A season of waiting. At times, a season that felt like brokenness.

But what God has shown me in that waiting is this: when you wait, you learn to dream big, pray hard, and think long. We tend to see the goal as the destination. But in God’s economy, the process is the point. The growth beneath the surface matters just as much as what’s visible.

I don’t believe you landed here by accident. I’ve asked God specifically that those who need my services would be able to find me. I don’t believe in coincidence. I believe in God’s will and His perfect timing. I believe in a God who directs our steps, prepares good works in advance, and works all things together for good.

God has given me the patience of a planter, the foresight of a farmer, and the mindset of a sower. Prayer is planting. Obedience is watering. Growth belongs to God. We often want to reap the moment we sow. But most seeds go underground. They disappear. They look dormant. They may even seem dead. But they aren’t. They are growing beneath the surface.

We cannot force growth. We can only plant faithfully and tend what has been entrusted to us. Sow kindness and reap kindness. Sow generosity and reap generosity. Sow love and reap love.

Sow a seed. Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep giving. Keep serving.

A harvest will come. In God’s time, in God’s way.

That is the heart behind Mustard Seed Sites.

From seed to site.
